Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dermatologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents. The role requires expertise in pediatric dermatological conditions, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat pediatric skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, birthmarks, skin infections, allergic skin disorders, and genetic skin diseases.
Perform comprehensive dermatological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Conduct dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and minor surgical interventions as appropriate.
Collaborate with pediatricians, allergists, immunologists, and other specialists to provide integrated patient care.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and skin care management.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits.
Stay current with advancements in pediatric dermatology through continuing medical education and professional development.
Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and ethical medical practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a recognized residency in Dermatology.
Fellowship or specialized training in Pediatric Dermatology preferred.
Board Certification or equivalent specialty certification in Dermatology.
Eligibility for or possession of a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license.
Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Dermatology preferred.
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and procedural skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
