Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team at RAF Lossiemouth on a zero hour contract . This flexible role is ideal for an experienced chef looking for work on an as-and-when-required basis, supporting the catering operation during periods of increased demand, annual leave cover, and special events.

What you'll be doing
Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals to specification
Supporting breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hospitality services as required
Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and allergen management standards at all times
Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and food ordering
Ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organised
Following recipes, production standards, and company procedures
Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent food and customer service
Completing all relevant food safety and due diligence records
Qualifications
About you
Previous chef experience is essential
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for producing high-quality food and delivering excellent service
