Your Team

The Clearing Risk Control, Data and Reporting team quantifies, analyses and reports clearing risks arising from ASX Clearing Houses acting as central counterparties for novated cash equities and exchange-traded derivatives. The team partners with other risk functions and delivery stakeholders to support risk activities in accordance with approved policies, standards and procedures.

Your responsibilities

Lead data engineering workstreams across change-the-company, regulatory and risk transformation initiatives, from source ingestion through curated data products and reporting consumption.

Engage stakeholder groups across Clearing Risk and translate business, risk and reporting requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.

Review existing clearing risk data flows and reporting processes, identify control, reliability or efficiency gaps, and implement fit-for-purpose engineering improvements.

Embed data governance requirements in engineering delivery, including approved data sources, critical data elements, metadata, lineage, ownership and KRI traceability.

Design and maintain source-to-target mappings, ingestion pipelines, transformations, reconciliation logic and curated data models across source systems, cloud platforms and reporting outputs.

Build and execute automated data tests covering schema, completeness, accuracy, reconciliation, transformation logic and end-to-end pipeline validation, while supporting UAT and evidence preparation.

Design, build and maintain reusable data pipelines, curated data layers and consumption-ready datasets using SQL and Python, supporting Tableau, regulatory reporting and management information.

Strengthen data platform controls through monitoring, logging, alerting, exception handling, technical documentation and controlled remediation processes.

Support production regulatory, audit and self-identified issues by providing data lineage, technical analysis, control evidence and remediation delivery to agreed quality and schedule.

Coach team members and promote engineering standards for coding, version control, documentation, testing, deployment, support and data governance.
