Job description
Atkins Golf Club at the University of Illinois, located in Urbana, IL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Sales Attendant ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).
Compensation:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Time frame:
Now and through the Holiday Season.
Key Responsibilities
Provides a high level of customer service in the golf shop, including taking tee times, checking in golfers, and merchandise sales
Accurately handles cash and credit card transactions related to merchandise sales and greens fees
Assists in keeping shop displays neat and clean
Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing personality
Basic computer software operation
Customer service experience helpful
Ability to work independently
Excellent verbal communication skills
Knowledge of golf extremely helpful
