Job description
Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager owns positioning, go-to-market, launches, and adoption for company products. The role sits between Product/R&D, Marketing, and Sales. It turns product capabilities into clear value for each target segment and feeds market and customer insight back into the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-market: Own GTM plans for new products, features, and major releases, from planning through post-launch review. Prioritize markets and segments, and run a tiered launch model (major / minor / silent).
Positioning & messaging: Build and maintain positioning, value propositions, and messaging for each ideal customer profile (ICP) and buyer persona, in [languages, e.g. Arabic and English]. Clearly explain how the product differs from competitors and alternatives.
Market & competitive intelligence: Research customers, the market, and competitors to find opportunities, pain points, trends, and differentiation. Track competitor pricing, features, and positioning.
Product partnership: Work with Product/R&D to bring customer and market input into requirements, user stories, and roadmap priorities. Validate features against customer needs before launch.
Pricing & packaging: Help define plans, tiers, and trial or freemium mechanics, using win/loss data and competitive data.
Adoption & onboarding: Own the customer activation journey, from signup or purchase to first value. Use onboarding emails, in-product messaging, and help content to cut time-to-value.
Sales enablement: Create product briefs, one-pagers, decks, demo scripts, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and FAQs. Run enablement sessions for the Sales and Business Development teams.
Campaigns & content: Plan and run product campaigns, webinars, demos, events, newsletters, and landing pages, together with Marketing.
Launch communications: Own internal and external launch communications and keep messaging consistent across the website, product, sales materials, and channels.
Feedback loop: Collect structured feedback from customers, Sales, and win/loss reviews. Use it to improve positioning, onboarding, and the roadmap.
Measurement: Track the KPIs below, report monthly, and turn the results into concrete actions.
Requirements
