Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves fixing things and tackling new challenges? Join the Friendship Village Tempe team and help keep our community safe, beautiful, and running smoothly!
✨ Pay: $22.20-$24.42 per hour (DOE)
✨ Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 6:30am-3:00pm, occasionally carrying on-call pager required
✨ What You'll Do:
Tackle repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliances, and building systems
Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and electric carts
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using tools, testing equipment, and schematics
Assist with HVAC, pumps, motors, and other facility systems as qualified
Support emergency systems, safety procedures, and building security
Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and keep tools and work areas in great shape
Provide friendly, professional service to residents and team members
✨ What You Bring:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience
High school diploma or GED
Valid Arizona Driver's License
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (within 30 days of hire)
HVAC/EPA Certifications preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and work in varying conditions
Flexibility for occasional on-call duties
