Job description
Energy Talent Search is working with a commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager for a large ground-up project in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Project Manager will work alongside senior project leadership and oversee members of the project team. This position will be responsible for day-to-day project management, coordination, cost control, scheduling, and execution.
Responsibilities include:
Manage day-to-day construction activities for a large ground-up commercial project
Work closely with senior project leadership to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and overall project execution
Lead and develop project team members, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, procurement, and project documentation
Monitor project costs, forecasts, schedules, and potential risks
Lead subcontractor coordination and ensure commitments and deadlines are met
Participate in owner and project meetings and communicate project status effectively
Identify potential schedule, cost, and issues before they impact the project
Support project closeout and turnover
Maintain company standards for safety and quality
Requirements
5+ years of construction experience with a commercial general contractor
Strong ground-up commercial construction experience
Experience managing large, complex construction projects
Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, cost controls, and project teams
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work full-time onsite in Las Vegas, Nevada
