Job description

Vendor Operations Lead

The Vendor Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the onboarding, maintenance, and monitoring of vendors across services such as business development, insurance, UCC filings, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and warranty support. This role operates independently, ensuring contract and documentation accuracy, vendor compliance, and process efficiency while partnering cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Partners with Originations and internal teams to onboard and manage vendors.

Performs monthly quality assurance and compliance audits. Provides operational support across platform during periods of low demand.

Drafts and reviews vendor agreements and amendments in accordance with company policy.

Develops and maintains standard templates, playbooks, and procedural documentation. Maintains document library and ensures proper document control and versioning.

Monitors vendor performance and ensures compliance with operational and contractual requirements.

Collaborates with IT to enhance dashboards and streamline onboarding processes.

Conducts UCC lien reviews and resolves inventory perfection issues with Operations.

Supports cost-per-copy setup and ensures adherence to deadlines and vendor expectations.

Files insurance claims and manages vendor relationships related to insurance services.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a paralegal doing transactional work in a law firm or leasing or commercial lending business.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a paralegal doing transactional work in a law firm or leasing or commercial lending business.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; work history in related field required.

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field and/or Paralegal Certificate, highly preferred.
