Activities Assistant - Memory Care

Are you energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated to make a positive impact on the lives of our senior residents? We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Part-Time Activities Assistant with weekend availability to inspire, motivate, and connect with our senior memory care residents. If you have a passion for working with seniors and a desire to create meaningful experiences, we invite you to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of memory care residents

- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages participation and social interaction

- Motivate residents to participate in daily activities, promoting mental and emotional well-being

- Collaborate with staff and family members to develop personalized activity plans

- Maintain a safe and respectful environment during all activities

- Document resident participation and progress as required

Skills and Qualifications:

- Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to motivate and inspire residents with creativity and enthusiasm

- Prior experience in activity planning or senior care preferred but not required

- Weekend availability is essential

- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor
