Description
Position Summary:
The Junior Developer builds platform features and services on native AWS. You will implement user stories, write tests, participate in code reviews, and use AI-assisted development tooling as a standard part of the workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement user stories and features on a cloud-native AWS stack
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews
- Fix defects and support continuous delivery
- Use AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC
- Collaborate with the team on design and refinement
- Support secure coding and accessibility requirements
- Contribute to CI/CD and automation

Requirements
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
- Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
- Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience with modern languages/frameworks and version control
- Familiarity with cloud (AWS) and CI/CD concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS exposure or certification
- Federal IT experience
- Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tooling
