About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our fast-moving experiential team. This role is ideal for someone who can independently own projects and production workstreams from kickoff through final reconciliation, while working collaboratively across internal teams, client, and external partners.

The ideal candidate is highly accountable, proactive, and comfortable making decisions and moving projects forward with limited day-to-day oversight. They should be equally comfortable managing budgets and schedules, leading vendors and onsite teams, communicating directly with clients and understanding when to independently solve a problem and when to escalate.

Key Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

Independently lead assigned experiential projects and production workstreams from kickoff through onsite execution and final closeout

Own production schedules, budgets, scopes, staffing plans, logistics, vendor deliverables, and critical project milestones

Build and actively manage production budgets, track actuals and commitments, and proactively flag scope changes, risks, and potential overages

Serve as a trusted production partner to clients, leading production conversations, communicating clearly, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle

Source, negotiate with, and manage fabricators, venues, technical partners, show services, and other production vendors

Hold vendors and partners accountable for scope, budget, quality, deadlines, and deliverables

Partner cross-functionally with Account, Creative, and other internal teams to evaluate feasibility, develop production solutions, and ensure approved creative is executed accurately

Develop and maintain clear production documentation, including schedules, budgets, scopes, run-of-show documents, vendor briefs, staffing plans, and onsite plans

Identify production risks and dependencies early, develop solutions, and escalate issues appropriately before they impact budget, schedule, client expectations, or execution

Lead load-ins, rehearsals, show days, and strikes while directing vendors, freelancers, and onsite production teams

Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong organization, communication, and attention to detail

Own project closeout, including final invoices, budget reconciliation, vendor documentation, and post-event learnings

Key Attributes

Ownership-minded: Takes responsibility for outcomes, follows through on commitments, and proactively moves work forward

Solutions-oriented: Approaches challenges calmly and brings thoughtful solutions rather than simply identifying problems

Strong judgment: Comfortable making decisions independently while understanding when leadership or client alignment is required

Proactive and anticipatory: Looks several steps ahead to identify risks, dependencies, and needs before they become issues

Accountable and detail-focused: Maintains a high standard for accuracy, organization, follow-through, and quality

Clear communicator: Operates with a “no surprises” communication style and raises risks, changes, and concerns early

Client-focused: Builds trust and communicates confidently and professionally with clients and partners

Collaborative: Works effectively across disciplines and understands that strong production requires partnership across the entire team

Calm under pressure: Maintains sound judgment, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset in fast-moving onsite environments

Success Metrics / KPIs

Projects and assigned workstreams delivered on time, on budget, and to the approved scope and quality standards

Accurate management of budgets, commitments, change orders, and final reconciliation

Risks, scope changes, and potential budget impacts identified and communicated proactively

Strong client confidence and clear, consistent production communication

Strength, reliability, and accountability of vendor relationships

Accuracy and completeness of production documentation

Quality and smoothness of onsite execution

Ability to independently manage projects with appropriate escalation and limited day-to-day oversight

Positive cross-functional collaboration and partner feedback

Qualifications

3-6+ years of production experience within experiential marketing, live events, brand activations, or a related field

Demonstrated experience independently managing experiential projects or significa
