About the role
As a Lead Roofing Installer (Crew Lead) at Liberty Roofing Pros, you'll run a roofing crew in the field — leading installs from start to finish, keeping the jobsite safe, training newer installers, and making sure every roof meets our quality standard. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll be on the roof with your crew, not just supervising from the ground. Your work will directly impact the safety, durability, and reputation we've built since 2017.
What you'll do
Work closely with team members to ensure quality workmanship on every job
Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and stay current on best practices
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times
Lead a crew to install asphalt shingle and metal roof systems safely and to spec
Plan the job, assign and pace work, and keep production on schedule and within budget
Train, coach, and give feedback to crew members and uphold our workmanship standard
Qualifications
Experience in roofing, construction, or a related trade preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Customer-focused communication skills
Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
5+ years of hands-on roofing experience (residential and/or commercial)
Prior experience leading or supervising a roofing or construction crew
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; OSHA 10/30 and manufacturer certifications a plus
