Grounds Maintenance Operative
Salary: £26.428 - £26,848 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Gosport Borough Council
Are you passionate about working outdoors and making a visible difference in your community? Gosport Borough Council are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our dynamic open spaces team. This team plays a vital role in delivering two of the Council’s key priorities:
Making Gosport a cleaner and greener place to live
Providing high-quality facilities for play, sports, and leisure
In this role, you will help maintain Gosport’s parks, open spaces, and recreational areas to an excellent standard, ensuring they remain safe, attractive, and accessible for all users.
What We Are Looking For:
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Holder of a clean UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Interest in grounds maintenance or the use of plant and equipment
