Girls JV Basketball Assistant Coach (Part-Time) Job requirements may include but are not limited to:
The Girls Basketball Assistant Coach assists with all aspects of the Bishop O’Dowd High School Girls Basketball program to ensure the highest quality of spiritual, social, physical and intellectual growth for every Girls Basketball student-athlete participating in the program. The Girls Basketball Assistant Coach assists all phases of Girls Basketball skill development while ensuring the implementation of the school’s mission and core values.
Girls JV Basketball Assistant Coach (Part-Time) RESPONSIBILITIES
The Girls Basketball Assistant Coach reports directly to the Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach.
The Girls Basketball Assistant Coach is hired, supervised, and evaluated by the Director of Athletics in consultation with the Principal.
Girls JV Basketball Assistant Coach (Part-Time) RESPONSIBILITIES
● Upholds and models a spiritual and moral code consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and Bishop O’Dowd High School’s charism. Integrates the school’s mission and Catholic identity into the coaching-learning process of the Basketball program.
● Serves to assist the Girls Basketball program and maintains a clear vision reflecting current trends in coaching and Girls Basketball Skill development.
● Ensures and monitors the implementation of current instructional coaching methods to maximize player development.
