What will you do as a Swim Instructor?
The main focus of a senior swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
Provide training to new hires and monitor proper use of the curriculum
Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
Ensure swimmer safety
What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?
Previous swim instruction and proper knowledge of all four strokes.
Childcare or teaching experience a plus
WSI certification preferred
CPO knowledge preferred
Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
Expected hours: Up to 36 Hours
Pay: $16/hr+ depending on experience and qualifications
