We are looking for: Lead Software Engineer - MES Engineer
You’ll make an impact by:
Lead end-to-end MES projects including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
Partner with manufacturing teams to understand business processes and translate requirements into MES solutions.
Drive MES implementation roadmaps while ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
Coordinate with external vendors for development, enhancements, issue resolution, and project execution.
Manage MES enhancement backlogs, prioritize business requirements, and track delivery commitments.
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation activities.
Support integration of MES with enterprise and shop-floor systems such as ERP, automation equipment, and machine interfaces.
Monitor MES system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as the escalation point for critical MES incidents and coordinate resolution across stakeholders.
Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and support procedures.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and support teams.
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to business and management stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
8-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Proven experience leading MES implementation and enhancement projects in manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, testing, quality, and material flow.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Experience managing external vendors and coordinating software delivery activities.
Experience with MES configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
