We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of PLC Programmer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu . The role requires a technically capable professional who can support PLC-based industrial automation and control systems. Candidates with strong programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and automation skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation applications.
Create and troubleshoot ladder logic and PLC control sequences.
Configure and integrate HMI/SCADA systems with PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform testing, commissioning, and debugging of automation systems.
Diagnose PLC, sensor, actuator, communication, and control-system faults.
Integrate PLCs with drives, instrumentation, and industrial equipment.
Maintain technical documentation, program backups, and change records.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and automation teams during installation and commissioning.
Required Skills
PLC Programming: Ability to develop and modify PLC control programs.
Ladder Logic: Strong understanding of industrial control logic and sequencing.
HMI/SCADA: Ability to work with operator interfaces and monitoring systems.
Industrial Automation: Understanding of automated machinery and control systems.
Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose control-system, I/O, and communication issues.
Preferred Skills
Experience with industrial communication protocols.
Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.
