Senior Solution Architect – Digital Health

At Twoday, we help organisations create lasting value through technology. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Digital Engineering organisation and work with business-critical digital solutions within the Danish healthcare sector.

You will become part of a large-scale delivery environment involving multiple development teams and suppliers. The solutions support critical healthcare processes and place high demands on architecture, integration, security, stability and long-term maintainability.

The role

As a Solution Architect, you will help translate complex business and domain requirements into robust technical solutions and ensure coherence across software development, integration, security and operations.

You will work closely with developers, DevOps Engineers, test specialists, other architects and customer stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing solution architecture for business-critical healthcare and integration solutions

Defining architecture principles and technical guidelines

Designing REST, SOAP and event-driven integrations

Working with technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ

Supporting microservice architectures and domain modelling

Ensuring alignment between business requirements, architecture, security and operations

Documenting architectural decisions through ADRs, C4 models and other relevant documentation

Contributing to security and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001 and NIS2

Collaborating across teams and suppliers in a complex delivery organisation

Supporting developers and technical specialists with architectural guidance

What we're looking for

You have:

Significant experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect or senior developer with substantial architecture responsibility

Strong experience with enterprise integration, APIs and distributed systems

Experience with Java-based and Open Source environments

Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture

Experience with security and identity technologies such as OAuth2/OIDC, OIOSAML or similar

Experience working in complex enterprise or public sector environments

Strong communication skills and the ability to create alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience from digital healthcare is highly valued. In particular, experience with national healthcare platforms, healthcare integrations, healthcare data or other business-critical systems in the Danish healthcare sector will be considered a significant advantage.

Experience working in multi-supplier delivery organisations is also highly valued.

Fluent Danish, both written and spoken, is required.

You must be able to work onsite at the customer location in Copenhagen when required.
