POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager for Field Service Engineers plays a pivotal role in leading a team of engineers responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of Vertiv and legacy company equipment at customer sites across the EMEA region (ITALY). This role ensures operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic oversight
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Field Service Engineers across designated territories.
Ensure timely and high-quality execution of installation, maintenance, and repair services.
Drive team performance through KPIs, efficiency metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Technical Support, Logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Foster strong customer relationships, acting as a point of escalation and ensuring satisfaction.
Identify training needs and support the development of technical and soft skills within the team.
Manage resource planning, scheduling, and workload balancing to optimize service coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS
Formal Engineering qualification in a related field
Proven experience managing field service teams in a technical or engineering environment.

The anticipated salary range for this role in Milan - Italy locality is between 66,565 Euros to 83,206 Euros gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
