Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a pivotal role in our cloud infrastructure group, driving the development, optimization, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will:
Design, implement, and maintain high-scale production cloud infrastructure solutions for availability, performance and resilience
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployment processes
Use your expertise in Linux and networking to enhance system performance, security, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services affecting millions of users

Qualifications
5+ years of experience working on live production systems
Proficiency in Linux and are well-versed in networking fundamentals
Excellent understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, networking and most managed services
Excellent understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and internals, including hands-on cluster administration
Strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, Chef, etc.)
Strong background with scripting languages like Python and Bash
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
