Location: Chicago, IL Facility: Ascension Saint Joseph Department: Invasive Cardiology Schedule: Day shift | Full-time Salary range: $122,233.97 - $165,374.64 per year
Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus incentive
How you'll make an impact in this role
Direct daily workflows and clinical operations for the Cardiovascular/Cath Lab department, maintaining optimal nursing resource allocation and high standards of care.
Develop, implement, and enforce departmental policies to guarantee efficiency while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Formulate and manage the annual operating budget, auditing and approving expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource management.
Establish quality monitoring systems, maintain 24/7 operational accountability for the unit, and proactively resolve clinical or operational issues affecting patient care.
Lead end-to-end personnel management, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to drive high staff, patient, and physician satisfaction.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
