🕑 Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours over 5 days)

💷 Salary: Up to £13.01 per hour

💡 THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a reliable, organised Kitchen Assistant / Housekeeping Assistant to support our nursery team and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This role is perfect if you:

T his role is all about supporting, serving, and keeping things running smoothly .

🎯 You’ll be responsible for:

🍽 Kitchen Support

Serve meals and snacks to children

Prepare and organise meal areas

Support with clearing, cleaning, and resetting after mealtimes

Always follow food hygiene and safety procedures

🧼 Housekeeping & Environment

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the nursery

Clean and tidy rooms, communal areas, and kitchen spaces

Support laundry, dishwashing, and general upkeep

Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

👶 Supporting the Nursery Team

Help staff during busy periods (especially mealtimes)

Support routines and transitions where needed

Work collaboratively with the team to keep the day running smoothly

🛡 Health & Safety

Follow all health & safety and hygiene procedures

Support infection control and cleaning routines

Report any issues or concerns to the management team

👶 1:30pm – Support team where needed

🧹 3:00pm – General cleaning and housekeeping tasks
