Major Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate suitability of new technologies and build internal knowledge by conducting implementation studies, Proof of Concepts, and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)

Standardize: define conditions for the usage of the technology (coding practices, processes, patterns, delivery models, tools)

Implement: drive the implementation with internal development teams and external vendors

Manage the technology lifecycle: evaluation, adoption, deprecation, and retirement

Conduct regular code quality reviews and enforce adherence to engineering standards and development processes

Drive quality initiatives including unit testing adoption, design pattern standards, and code review practices

Communicate activities and achievements to stakeholders

Document solutions, technical decisions, and architecture in clear, maintainable formats Architecture, Security & DevSecOps

Produce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for significant technical decisions, documenting rationale and alternatives considered

Embed security thinking into every phase of development — applying OWASP Top 10 principles, secure coding practices, and vulnerability scanning in CI/CD pipelines
