The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Boilermaker’s to join the team located on Barrow Island, WA . In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of structural steel, piping, plate work, and fixed plant components. This is a casual ongoing position from November to January, joining our team on the Butler Park Corrosion Project delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
About You
Trade Certificate III – Fabrication Trade
WA Drivers Licence
White Card / Construction Induction
Working at Heights (completed within last 2 years)
Ability to pass a 2G & 3G weld test
Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
Proven experience in fabrication, welding, and structural steel works
