FIFO Roster : 12hour Days on a 2:1 Roster
Scope : November 15th 2026 to January 17th 2027
Flights : FIFO from Perth Airport

The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Painter Blaster’s to join the team located on Barrow Island, WA . You'll play a critical role in ensuring the longevity and integrity of key infrastructure through abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and the application of industrial protective coatings and paint. This is a casual ongoing position from November to January, joining our team on the Butler Park Corrosion Project delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
About You
Trade Certificate III Surface Preparation / Surface Finishing or similar – Highly regarded
WA Drivers Licence
White Card / Construction Induction
Working at Heights & Gas Test Atmospheres (completed within last 2 years)
Basic Fire Fighting Certificate
Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
Strong teamwork and communication skills
