Job description
Manage and oversee the school’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and school policies.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
Manage the school’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and financial analysis for school leadership.
Monitor the school’s budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure effective financial control.
Ensure timely collection of tuition fees and other receivables, following up on outstanding balances when required.
Review and approve payments, invoices, purchase orders, and supporting financial documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within a school or educational organization.
Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics.
