Job description
The Postcard Cabins Brand Ambassador is responsible for creating, testing, and implementing service and brand initiatives that bring the Postcard Cabins brand to life across all guest interactions—on time and within budget. This role designs and delivers training programs to ensure brand consistency, supports frontline teams in delivering exceptional service, and oversees procurement for brand-related projects that are both sustainable and aligned with budgetary guidelines.
Essential Functions
Develop, document, and maintain Postcard Cabins brand and service standards (guest interaction guidelines, tone of voice, visual standards, amenities, in-cabin touchpoints).
Translate brand values into practical service behaviors and checklists for onsite and remote teams.
Conduct regular brand audits (online presence, cabins, communications, collateral) and recommend improvements to keep experiences aligned with the brand.
Ensure all brand and service initiatives are delivered within approved budgets and agreed timelines.
Identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey (pre-stay, arrival, in-stay, departure, post-stay follow-up).
Design and pilot new service and brand initiatives
Collect and analyze guest and team feedback to refine initiatives before scaling across locations.
Partner with Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Property Teams to plan and roll out new standards and programs on schedule, tracking timelines, milestones, and budget adherence.
Monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks or delays to keep initiatives on track and within budget.
Source sustainable, high-quality suppliers and products that reflect Postcard Cabins’ aesthetic and values.
Obtain quotes, compare options, and make recommendations that balance design, durability, sustainability, and cost.
Ensure all purchasing follows budgetary guidelines and approval processes, maintaining accurate records for reporting and future planning.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors to support consistent, reliable and cost-effective supply.
Create training programs and materials (playbooks, SOPs, checklists, videos, workshops) to ensure brand and service consistency across locations.
Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for guest-facing team members (hosts, cleaners, support staff, remote guest services), coordinating sessions and materials within set timeframes and budgets.
Develop and maintain a “Brand 101” curriculum that clearly explains who we are, what we stand for, and how we show up for guests.
Build simple tools (job aids, quick-reference guides, scripts/templates) that make it easy for team members to apply training in daily work.
Serve as a go-to resource for questions about brand guidelines, guest experience, and service standards.
Model Postcard Cabins’ brand personality in all interactions (warmth, reliability, attention to detail, etc.).
Recognize and celebrate team members who exemplify the brand, supporting a culture of guest-centric hospitality.
Define and track key metrics related to brand consistency, guest experience, and initiative performance (NPS, reviews, service quality feedback, training completion).
Share regular insights and recommendations with leadership based on guest reviews, survey data, and team input.
