The Mimosa House in Rancho Cordova is looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Food Expeditor to join our team!
We are a fast-paced, high-volume breakfast and brunch restaurant seeking someone who can keep up with a busy kitchen while ensuring every dish is accurate, properly presented, and delivered to guests in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff.
Ensure all dishes are prepared correctly and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen.
Organize and prioritize orders to maintain efficient food service.
Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and management.
Assist with garnishing, plating, and final food preparation as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station.
Help resolve order discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
Support the team during high-volume breakfast and brunch rushes.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Schedule
The Mimosa House operates daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM . Applicants must have flexible morning and afternoon availability, including weekends and holidays.
