Location: Remote/Hybrid (U.S. – limited to specific states)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering team. This role is primarily focused on back-end development using Ruby on Rails and Postgres, with opportunities to contribute to front-end and infrastructure work as well. You’ll work independently on development tasks while collaborating closely with teammates on planning, reviews, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Design and build new features within a microservices architecture

Propose and implement technical solutions in collaboration with the team

Participate in planning sessions, code reviews, and architecture discussions

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Project Management, along with other groups within the organization

Contribute to the growth of the team and technical best practices

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer

Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React

Experience working in a microservices environment

Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Docker and AWS

Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform

Financial Services industry experience (consumer lending)

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $170-200K annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and geographic market.
