Job description
SNIPEBRIDGE is a strategic talent solutions company specializing in connecting exceptional talent to great career opportunities. We work as an exclusive partner to leading AEC and technology organizations that are advancing the built environment through innovation, technical rigor, and transformative work.
COMPANY
Our client works within the aviation sector, partnering with airports, public agencies, airlines, and project teams to plan and deliver facilities that move people safely and efficiently. Its work may include airport master planning, terminal and support-facility design, airfield infrastructure, and landside improvements. Projects balance operational continuity, passenger experience, technical standards, sustainability, and long-term growth within highly coordinated, regulated environments.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Project Architect will lead the planning, design, and technical delivery of aviation facilities in active operational environments. The role may support terminals, concourses, passenger-processing areas, support buildings, or modernization programs, balancing passenger experience, security, code, constructability, phasing, and airport operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead projects from programming and concept design through documentation, permitting, and construction administration
Coordinate passenger flow, operational requirements, security boundaries, accessibility, code, and life-safety strategies
Manage interdisciplinary teams spanning architecture, interiors, structural, civil, MEP, technology, baggage, security, and specialty systems
Develop and maintain Revit models, drawing packages, specifications, schedules, and technical details
Facilitate meetings with airport staff, airlines, agencies, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
Plan phased work within occupied or continuously operating airport environments
Review submittals, respond to RFIs, perform site observations, and resolve construction issues
Manage scope, fee, schedule, risk, quality, and team performance for assigned work
REQUIREMENTS Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
7+ years of architectural experience, including leadership of technically complex projects
Professional architecture license preferred; required where serving in a responsible charge role
Advanced Revit skills and strong knowledge of multidisciplinary BIM coordination
Experience with aviation, transportation, civic, healthcare, or other large public facilities preferred
Knowledge of building codes, accessibility, life safety, security coordination, and construction administration
Strong client leadership, organization, communication, and technical judgment
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
