Job description
* Prepare different gelato flavours according to approved recipes.
* Measure, mix and process ingredients accurately.
* Maintain consistent taste, texture and product quality.
* Operate and clean gelato-production equipment properly.
* Monitor ingredient quality, storage conditions and expiry dates.
* Follow hygiene, sanitation and food-safety standards.
* Control production quantities and minimize waste.
* Support the development and testing of new flavours.
* Maintain an organized and clean production area.
* Report equipment issues or ingredient shortages to the direct manager.
* Perform any additional production tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Requirements
* Previous experience in gelato, ice cream, pastry or dessert production is preferred.
* Fresh candidates can be considered if they are serious, willing to learn and interested in food production.
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe ingredient handling.
* Ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately.
* Good attention to taste, texture, presentation and cleanliness.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
* Commitment, punctuality and willingness to learn.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and handle production equipment.
* Preferably residing near New Cairo or able to commute daily.
