This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the charge in the rapidly growing two-wheeler and electric vehicle sector for a forward-thinking company. You'll have a significant impact, shaping strategy and operations in a dynamic market.
Job description

Trusting Social is an AI Fintech pioneer that’s revolutionizing credit access in emerging markets. Our mission is “Advancing AI to Meet the Financial Needs of Everyday Consumers with Empathy.” We’ve assessed over 1 billion consumers across four countries, and we’re on a mission to provide 100 million credit lines using the power of AI and Big Data.

How You'll Make an Impact

Two-wheeler and electric motorbike financing is one of the clearest paths to credit for underserved consumers in Vietnam, and it is a distribution network EVO does not yet own. This role builds it. You own the two-wheeler and EV vertical end-to-end — manufacturer and distributor relationships at head-office level, the dealer network beneath them, the in-dealership sales process, and the volume and portfolio quality that come out of it. You operate alongside the Key Account and regional POS leadership, split by vertical rather than by territory.

You thrive here if you think like an owner of a business unit rather than the head of a function, and you arrive with your own ambition for how large this vertical should be. You have built a dealer network before and know that signing dealers is the easy half. You are in the field often enough to know which dealerships are actually selling and which are decorating, you read early portfolio signals rather than waiting for a Risk escalation, and you are willing to cut a high-volume dealer whose book is deteriorating. You build the commercial policy and the process together, because one without the other does not survive contact with a provincial dealership.

What You'll Do

Vertical Strategy & Ownership

Own the two-wheeler and EV vertical's volume, disbursement value, and portfolio quality end-to-end — accountable for outcomes, not activity.

Define the segment strategy: which manufacturers, distributors, and dealer tiers to pursue, in what order, with what commercial model and regional rollout sequence.

Manufacturer & Distributor Partnerships

Build head-office relationships with motorbike and EV manufacturers and their distributors; negotiate national programmes, interest subvention schemes, and joint sales campaigns.

Calibrate subvention and promotion economics to partner incentives and our lending targets before committing.

Dealer Network Development

Build the retail dealer network: recruitment, contracting, training, activation, and sustained active rate.

Drive productivity per active dealer rather than headline dealer count; diagnose and fix underperforming dealers instead of replacing them.

Process & Cross-functional Design

Design the in-dealership sales and credit process with Product, Risk, and Operations — application, assessment, down-payment handling, disbursement, vehicle handover, post-disbursement checks.

Identify integration opportunities with manufacturer and distributor systems to reduce manual friction.

Portfolio Quality & Team Leadership

Monitor delinquency and fraud signals at dealer level with Risk; act on deteriorating dealers early and own the call.

Build and lead the regional team for the vertical, coordinating closely with the RSMs to avoid territory conflict with the mass POS channel.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

Minimum 8 years in consumer finance, vehicle financing, or a directly comparable dealer-network business, including at least 3 years leading a team.

Deep understanding of Vietnam's motorbike distribution ecosystem — manufacturers, distributors, authorized dealers, and independent shops.

Direct experience building or scaling a multi-province dealer or POS network.

Bachelor's degree or above; willingness to travel to the field regularly is essential.

Experience in the electric two-wheeler segment is a strong plus.

How You Work

You operate with a company-owner mindset: you judge a dealer or a programme by what it contributes to the business overall, not by the volume it puts on your own scoreboard.

You bring your own ambition and clear targets for the vertical, and you push the organization toward them rather than waiting for goals to be assigned.

You use AI as a real working tool — for dealer performance analysis, market mapping, and reporting — and evaluate its output critically before making calls on it.

You take initiative before being directed: when a dealer's approval rate or portfolio quality slips, you have already been to the site and have a response ready.

You connect what Risk knows, what Operations can support, and what a dealer needs at the counter, and act as the bridge that makes things move.

You are not bound by how vehicle financing has always been structured in this market when the evidence points elsewhere.

Skills & Competencies

Business Owner — Takes full accountability for the vertical's volume and portfolio ou
