This dedicated driver position offers great pay and the chance to be home twice a week, even if you're a new grad! You'll be running regional routes and getting paid weekly, with training and unload pay included.
Job description
Las Vegas drivers: $1,600 to $1,700 a week on a dedicated account, home twice a week.
Early-morning store deliveries on regional lanes between Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego and Utah. Paid on all loaded miles. New CDL grads are trained.
What you earn
Paid every week during training
$1,600 to $1,700 average per week
$0.60 to $0.62 a mile by experience, paid on all loaded miles
About 1,800 miles a week
$100 unload pay per load, $25 per stop

Your week
Store deliveries, mostly roll carts plus some loose boxes. Unloads take 1 to 2 hours per stop. Home twice a week and for your 34-hour reset. Weekend deliveries are rare.

What happens after you apply
A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid every week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average.
What you need
Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older
New CDL grad with 120+ school hours, or 6 months of recent experience
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen
