Senior Test Data Specialist
About the Offer
We are currently looking for a Senior Test Data Specialist to join the team of our client from the banking industry. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.
You will be part of the Home Journey project, covering the full process a customer goes through when buying a home in the Nordics. You will work in a diverse, highly international environment with ambitious people, working agile, determined to reach a common goal: meeting the unique needs of customers.
The role focuses on executing the test data strategy, building automated solutions, supporting teams daily and ensuring test data is available on demand. You will work closely with testers, developers, DevOps engineers and business analysts to remove one of the largest bottlenecks in testing: obtaining and maintaining trustworthy test data.
Key Details:
Rate: up to 115 PLN/h net (B2B)
Work Model: hybrid, 3 days a week from the office
Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk or Gdynia
Responsibilities:
Test data engineering: create and maintain reusable test data assets, develop automated test data provisioning solutions and build self-service data delivery mechanisms
Data masking and compliance: implement masking and anonymization routines, ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies, and validate masked data quality and usability
Test data creation and generation: create synthetic test datasets, generate data for edge cases and negative tests, and maintain business-realistic data combinations
Provisioning: provision test data to non-production environments, refresh and clone test datasets, and support parallel testing across multiple teams
Automation and CI/CD: integrate test data generation into automation frameworks, enable CI/CD-driven test data provisioning and support automated regression execution
Monitor data availability and quality, and resolve data-related defects and issues
Maintain available test data and document processes, standards and data dependencies
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Test Data Management or Test Automation
Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
Knowledge of mainframe systems and setups
Experience with data extraction and transformation, test data generation, data masking, cloning and subsetting
Hands-on implementation of TDM solutions
Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Java or similar)
Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins)
Experience supporting automated, integration and E2E testing
Experience working in Agile teams
Advanced English
Nice to have:
Experience with Tricentis Tosca TDM, Curiosity Software, Delphix or Informatica TDM
Financial services domain knowledge
Synthetic data generation tools and AI-assisted test data creation
API testing experience (incl. SOAP)
Kubernetes and cloud platform knowledge
Experience supporting large-scale E2E customer journey testing
