Our solutions support public sector organizations, energy and utilities companies, industrial businesses, and information-intensive operations across the Nordics and beyond.

As part of an ambitious transformation agenda, we are accelerating the adoption of AI, modern operating models, and continuous improvement practices across the business.

The Role

We are looking for a Head of Operational Excellence to lead the transformation of how Nexus operates.

This is a senior cross-functional leadership role responsible for improving business performance through Lean principles, AI-enabled ways of working, strong governance, and operational discipline. Working closely with leaders across Product, Delivery, Technology, Support, and Security, you will build the operational foundation that enables the business to scale, execute strategy, and succeed in an AI-driven future.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the Operational Excellence strategy across Nexus.

Lead AI-enabled transformation initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and decision-making.

Simplify and standardize processes, governance, and ways of working across the organization.

Strengthen performance management through clear KPIs, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.

Establish scalable operating models that support growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Ensure security, compliance, risk management, and governance are embedded in business operations.

Build organizational capability in Lean, operational leadership, and continuous improvement.

Support senior leaders in translating business strategy into measurable operational outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

Faster and more efficient execution across the organization.

Increased adoption of AI in core workflows and internal services.

Stronger business performance through improved productivity and quality.

Greater consistency through standardized processes and governance.

Reduced operational risk and improved compliance.

Clear performance visibility through meaningful KPIs and reporting.

A culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

You bring a strong track record in operational excellence, business transformation, or large-scale change management within technology, software, or service-driven organizations.

You likely have:

Experience leading Lean or operational transformation programmes.

Proven success driving AI-enabled business improvement.

Strong understanding of performance management, governance, and operating models.

Experience working across multiple business functions and influencing senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of risk, compliance, and operational management frameworks.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

A passion for building high-performing organizations and delivering measurable business impact.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to shape how a growing software business operates in the age of AI. You will work directly with senior leaders, influence company-wide transformation, and play a critical role in creating a more scalable, efficient, and future-ready organization.

Application deadline: 15th of October, but we will process applications on a ongoing basis.
